Got the jeep out of my buddies garage, packed some shit up and am ready to roll out tomorrow back to Texas.......
Here is the interesting part, went out last night int he fort to the surfside, and lo and behold who is there at the bar with the latest flavor of the month.......you got it......The whole place knows what happened I guess and it got real quiet. Like I was going to raise hell or something......Nope.....
Just had my beer and sat at a table, but flavor of the month kept staring at me for some time, I gave him a good look back ala The Outlaw Josie Wales, kind of a bat shit crazy look........they left right after that.......
The reason i was really pissed was that I got a letter from the Banff Centre up in Canada for a job a while ago and she hid it from me, not wanting to go to canada.......It was given to me by a friend who helped her unpack some of her shit and found some mail for me.......So I called them this morning and the job is still open for a Sr Recording Engineer.........
it is year round full time, nice pay and I would have time to do my mastering and other things.....I am going to go up before sxsw.......If I dont drum up alot of business I may take em up on it..........Hell at least I can ski......
Man, the gall of some people.......So now it is time to do some thinking and really take a look at what I want to do........Luckily I can fit most of my life into a uhaul trailer and ship the gear........
I have not had much luck in the real estate market down there........I can move on pretty quick since I dont have alease on the condo and the building owner of my studio space is cool with me moving out if I have to.......
Lots to think about......I have wanted to move to BC for a long time.......Just have to get a canadian work permit........
Got the call my tires are done on the jeep and I am gonna roll........
