I mustered up the courage today to head down to central square, and see the spot where a friend of mine got stabbed to death back in 1992. There was an odd peace about it, finally. I went out to the cemetary in roxbury and found charlie's grave and said I finally did it.....I went back 15 years later......I stopped by his old house and his wife was there...the kids are in college she is remarried and happy. It made me feel good to see that, and I am sure she wondered who the greaser dud outside of her house was too.....we are both a little older and a little grayer...but rtemember the old songs we used to do and I got good jamaican food for lunch and a tape I will remaster for her.....That was the reason I moved out of boston......

I am going to go out on a ramble tonight and try and see whats happening at my old haunts......lots of fun memories here.......I did find out an old girlfriend of mine is still around and got her number, might be fun to go and drink lots of gin and smoke a few fatties at johnny d's for old times sake.......maybe the cantab too....then harpers ferry to see if joe still has that godawful parrot we used to have to get out of the rafters for free beer.....

I am rolling out on sunday back to good old colorado...and do some serious thinking about the sony gig.....NYC would not be bad but it would take alot for me to get used to that.......but I have a drive across the country to think about that.............
