Why does finding an apartment have to be so difficult? I've been feeling really up and down lately becuase of looking for places (along with, oh, I don't know, continuing to get over the breakup -- why can't trauma just heal for god's sake?) And I found a place that I like, with girls I like, and I can afford it. And now the guy we're signing this lease wiht not only wants the *deposit* in cash (which I've heard of), but apparently wants us to pay our monthly rent in cash. Aside from making sure we get a receipt, I wonder if I should be scared by this? I'm just so sick of feeling so bleh
