Well, things seem to be coming together nicely and I'm finding my feet quite comfortably.
The course I'm on at the moment isn't too taxing, although I'm expecting that to change once I start my Diploma in September. It's been nearly ten years since I was in school and it's a bit of a culture shock, but I've always found it relatively easy to adapt to any given situation.
I've managed to find an awesome record store, that is also very competitively priced. So I ended up spending 80 quid on cd's the first time I set foot in the place. I haven't been overly impressed with what I bought though. I picked up the new albums by Finch, The Transplants and the Murphys, and have to say that none of them are as good as their predecessor's. The one album that did surprise me though was Death for Life by Death By Stereo, it's very metal, but it kicks some brutal ass!
The other thing that's kept a smile on my face this last week, and I'm sorry to have to break it to ya like this ladies, but I met a new girly and she's damn fine!
She's not really like any girl I've been with before, for starters she's blonde and she's got this really familiar "couldn't give a fuck" attitude, so it'll be interesting to see how two very similar personalities interact with each other. I'm so used to docile females expecting me to sort their shit out for them and she seems like a bit of a challenge, so I'll have to stay on my toes. I'm just a bit worried about getting hooked too soon though, she's only 19, so has probably got a little bit more game in her than me. But I reckon I can keep my fingers blister free.
Stay classy SG Land!

Queues and paying into pubs full of drunken tossers on Broad Street is never good, I feel for you! Last time I did that, I felt suicidal by the end of it. Altho I spotted a 'rock bar' by the ICC that's just opened on the way to work today. Dunno if it'll be any good tho.
