What a boring week. I was looking forward to the weekend, but there's nothing happening. No shows, no parties, no friends (they've pissed me off quite a lot recently). 
I think it must be a post Christmas thing.
Next week doesn't look much better either. The only thing that has brightened things up recently has been Strike Anywhere's "Change is A Sound". I picked it up at their show recently but didn't really have time to listen it until last week.
I must say it's pretty fucking outstanding. It's a bit more raw compared to "Exit English", but it sounds a lot more intense. It seems that as bands get technically better they lose that something that grabs you by the face and screams "LISTEN TO THIS" (think Rise Against).
I'm going skiing for a couple of weeks on the 16th, so I suppose I have this to look forward too, but if anyone has anything interesting or exciting to talk about I'm all ears.
