My friends Ashley and Donny and I left my place early in the morning and drove mostly non stop to New Mexico. Here is Ash and Donny

We then had a blast chatting and drinking beer. The next day we went to my most favorite places in the entire world, The Black Hole in Los Alamos.

Then made it to the black hole, and if you are a big enough geek, you will know the place I am talking about. I had been eyeing this unit tank thingy for a good 10 years and I finally bought it. It took a forklift to get it into my truck.
It now resides in an awesome spot in my loft.
We then drove down to Santa Fe for dinner and so donny can find a sweet bracelet, as seen in this pic,
On the way back, however, just a bit past the resturaunt we at breakfast at. I saw an elk... which didn't see me.
It was pitch black outside and the poor thing knocked out all my lights so I was flying down this back country highway completely blind. Sadly the elk did not live but thankfully it must have been almost instantaneous so he did not suffer. Locals said it must have weighed at least 900 pounds. I have pics of the elk but I will spare you those.
The whole purpose of the trip was for Donny and I to pick up our new, albeit old and rundown, motorcycles. Ural 650's
Mine is the one with the sidecar and Donny is on his. So, we get my car towed and I have now ended up buying the chevy deisel off of my parents and we are back in town and have had a couple weeks to work on them. More pics of them will come at a later date. Whooo, I am exhausted.
