Last night was the high point of my career...so far. I was invited to the company's luxury suite at the Wachovia arena in Philly to watch a Sixers game. Most of the corporate managers and supervisors of the project I'm working on were there. 
I got to bullshit and drink with them and the free food was a plus. I assume they like what we do and they have had nothing but good things to say about us. Hopefully I was able to make a good impression, because I have caught wind that I'm on track for a major step up in the company. Of course that means a promotion with more $$, and it's projected to be a big jump in pay, so I'm excited. I'll just keep my fingers crossed...
Other than that I've been keeping really busy and going out a lot. I haven't hung out with all my friends in sooo long. It feels good to be social again. Now I'm just itching for a road trip.
