Well first it is hot. Insufferably hot. Add to it high humidity and Philly just isn't a great place to be. It was bad enough that @synatra left us for Florida, a void that is still felt throughout the city but now this heat. Ugh. @bandit graced us for a few nights to shoot a sure to be awesome set. I hope she enjoyed the Mutter Museum. Now comes the Democratic Nation Convention. More heat. Ugh. The streets are going to be filled with protesters. It makes no sense. Comes the election a majority of the protesters are going to vote Democratic. According to the TV and other media the protests in Cleveland were fairly tame. Democrats seem to attract more rabid protests. Think back to 1968. The convention in Chicago led to massive protests and quite a few riots. The result? A lot of people around the country voted for Nixon, the law and order candidate after seeing and fearing the riots in Chicago. Thank you protesters for helping to give us Nixon. Hopefully this years slimmed down protesters will not give us Trump. Top it all off there is a huge problem with the train system forcing something like 30% of the cars to be rendered inactive because the wheel could fall off. Funny thing is the law in PA says all bars must stop serving alcohol at 2:00 AM. It was temporarily rescinded while the Democrats are in town.
It ain't gonna be pretty this week. @synatra please come home and restore order. Please
