Well doing all that can be done for the expected onslaught of Hurricane Sandy. Cars are fueled and backed in. Food and water are plentiful. Candles, flashlights, batteries and lighters are stocked. Suitcase packed and in the car. Books to be read. Shop Vac at the ready to suck up any water that may come in. Trash cans duct taped and laying on their side. Gazebo taken down.

The locals are really serious about this and preparations. The high schools are being readied for emergency housing.

I have plenty of bourbon.
