So, bad news for me today, the AFM will not let me race because my medical insurance is medi-cal. They told me that I have to have a personal policy, and that anyone who requires publicly funded medical insurance has no business racing, which is a relatively espensive pleasure activity. It really bummed me out.

Oh the juggling.

Still looking at moving up north. Pulled off the fat raise with an option to work as a consultant when I am up there in school.

Got the parts to make the bike legal, still don't know what class I will be competing in next year, but it looks like I will be able to make it to AFM New Racer School...

Ahh, I am finally feeling better. Got my gear, riding with dad next weekend, got a raise, my baby is turning out more amazing than I could have ever imagined.

Dunno bout Frigga though. I am not sure how she feels about the idea of me doing trackdays and actually really racing. She smiles it off and all, but I don't know if she would...

i absolutely love being a daddy. rand(my three year old) is awesome, everyday when i get home from work he runs up hugs and days i missed you daddy. perrin(my 1 year old) just got his wheels going under him and man it's katy bar the door. i spend halff of the night watching star wars with rand and the other chasing perrin. i am locking and loading every last memory of all this because it is the best days of my life so far. hey don't worry avout Aeowyn and stereotypes. i really think today's generation of parents are truly rid of that. hell on my nephew's t-ball team there are more girls starting than boys and no one even gives it a second thought.
articulus:

I cannot believe that I am ready and willing to put myself in this situation, starting next season. Right-click and save-as....

mice and men....
clara:
I tried, but I have stinking dial-up. frown
greggster:
Man that is insane....talk about flying by the seat of your pants.

And yes even with these kitties I can not even imagine the responsibiltiy of raising a child.

That is why I have the upmost respect for those that do and do it right. Which is the reason i continue to wait ot have kids...I am just not in the right mind frame to do it right by them. But the kittens = good practice

It is tough to turn turn the guiness into gold. But then again, who can really stand the chill? Setting goals, I have decided, is just ridiculous. What can you accomplish when you're down and dedicated. Something will always get in the way and change your mind.

I could really get along these days if I had a good irish pub. I mean public house....

i get down on my knees every night and thank Odin there isn't a "pub" or "mates" around here.
gobuildinhell:
