OK....I'm over whining about being all alone. On Friday evening, I went in search of my legion of gothlings but I never found them. I got in my Jeep and drove....and drove.....and drove. I drove through 3 mountain passes during the worst snowstorm I've ever seen. I was the only one on the road. I wish I had pictures. There were times that I wasn't sure if I was even on the road. I kept driving and searching. Eventually I got through the blizzard and ended up at home...... home in Washington state. The next day I visited all the spooky, strange and unusual places in town. I went to all the spooky old "haunted" houses, the old cemetaries and places of urban legend. I regained my sight for the less than ordinary things in life. Today, on my way back to Montana, I saw things of such dark and random beauty that I swore to myself that I'd get a camera and return to document them. Once I do that, I'll post them here. Amazing what a spontaneous trip across three states in dangerous weather will do for one's spirit and inner vision.

It really sounds like a lovely outing.
