Today I triumphantly returned to the MSU paleo lab. YAY! I'd been away from my friends, Hypsilophodon, Lambeosaur and Really Old Lizard. (yet to be identified) Now this is not to be confused with the Museum's lab, of which I've spoken previously, with their fine lighting and plentiful tools for the grabbing. No. This is the campus paleo lab, located in deepest bowels of the earth, beneath the Earth Sciences building. (built @ 1880) This is my domain. (I'm sure others lay claim to it but I'll just kick 'em in the shin if I find 'em!) I think this is prime ghost-haunting material. If I were a ghost this is where I'd go. What if I am a ghost and I just don't know it? Maybe that's why no one will talk to me....or maybe it's 'cause not many people are excited to run down to the basement of Traphagen Hall to play with bones. This is where I spend my evenings. Note: NEVER play Controlled Bleeding CDs in the paleo lab. It will have you girked out in a matter of minutes....spooky! Ooooh...Nyquil. I smile.
