As many of you know my mom recently had a stroke while on vacation and has been recovering many many hours away from her home.

While I and my family are confident that she will make a full recovery over time, we do not know when or if she will be cleared to return to work.

When she is able to return home, I too will not be working during her recovery process, as she will need someone to help her with just every day things we take for granted, like putting socks on and tying your shoes.

She is uninsured and the majority of any medical bills are falling on our family to cover.

While my mom and myself are not the type to ever ask for a handout, we know that this is going to be a long and very expensive process, so I created a Chip In page to hopefully help offset some of this burden.

I know everyone has their own problems, bills, debts, etc but any help that can be offered will greatly be appreciated.

And even if you are unable to contribute anything, your prayers and well wishes are always appreciated. Without such support from my friends this difficult time would be a much darker time. Thank you everyone!
