I guess our old house wasn't made to be in the middle of a lake.

A foot or so of rain last night and a lot of it ended up in our basement.

Thankfully not too much got ruined since I have all my electronics down there other than my computer.

Spent all day mopping, shop vac'n, dumping buckets, drying out my stuff....it sucked ass. =P

We've still got flood warnings for the area too, so I'm hoping it doesn't rain like that again.

Glad I didn't end up like neighbors though, some had water in the basement within a foot of the ceiling, that's crazy shit even if they do have a small basement....I have no idea how the fuck we'd get rid of 6 feet of water.
