This is the story of The Scourge Of The Pitt, a Fallout Tale. It is my movie script abstract. This is what I have written thus far.
The year is 2279. The Lone Wanderer from Vault 101 successfully continued onward with Project Purity after their father, James, had sacrificed himself in order for his work to continue. The Enclave has been all but removed from the Capital Wasteland, and the Super Mutant problem in D.C. Ruins has seemingly been handled. Although the Lone Wanderer had traveled to The Pitt during their adventures, and seemingly handled the distress call, another distress call has been heard from the radioactive area.
Elder Lyons lies on his deathbed in the Citadel, and Paladin Lyons is distraught over her father's near end. Suddenly an alarm blares throughout the area, and an army of Super Mutants is heading its way towards the Citadel. Elder Lyons clenches onto Sarah to speak his last words. He tells the story of The Scourge and why noone should go back to The Pitt to save it.
The scene changes to the year 2254, set in the New California Republic at the Lost Hills bunker in what once was Southern California. A group of old men conversate within the bunker at a table late at night. Elder Jeremy Maxson sits at the head of this round table, nodding and agreeing with the others. The Elders are discussing Paladin Owen Lyons' mission details. After a few minutes, one of the Elders motions to one of the guards to bring Lyons in. Lyons walks in front of the table and the Elders speak to him about his mission, which is to travel as far east as Washington, D.C., as to recover any and all advanced technology left in what was once the nation's capital and investigate the reports of large amounts of Super Mutant activity in the area. Along the way he is to reestablish contact with the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel branch and tell them to return contact to Lost Hills. His group will be made of a small group of Brotherhood of Steel members so far consisting of himself, his 3 year old daughter Sarah, technology expert Scribe Rothchild, Star Paladin Cross, Paladin Casdin, Paladin Ashur, Knight Commander Tristan, Junior Knight Colvin, and Junior Paladin Gunny, amongst others. The Elders instruct them to prepare to leave within a week.

Since there has been no discussion on when the Brotherhood of Steel actually arrived at the Mojave, but they do discuss an Elder Elijah, I'm going to assume that the Capital Wasteland Chapter did not take part in taking a stronghold in the Hoover Dam or Helios One. I'm also going to assume that meeting with the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel was a failure in the way that they did of course come across the Midwestern chapter, but the Midwestern chapter refused to once again make contact with Lost Hills, as they basically went against all the Brotherhoods laws and rules by bringing in common people and Mutants as well as robots into their ranks, and they also managed to establish themselves firmly by reaching as far northwest as Alaska, all the way from the outer reaches of Chicago.
This section of the script is open for interpretation, as there is not at the moment any history in this part of the journey set in stone. I would like to use this part of the movie for the audience to get to know each of the characters for the type of people they are, by way of dramatic fight scenes in random encounters with Deathclaws, Super Mutants, Ghouls, and anything else they may come across during their incredible journey to the DC Ruins. A small, but large portion compared to the rest of the journey until they get to Pittsburgh, will be their meeting with the Midwestern chapter.

The Brotherhood marches onward through the landscape, coming across a giant bridge, saying the humble words Welcome to The Pitt with the letters s, b, u, r, g, and h blackened out by the blast and crossed out by some unknown person, and The written to the left of it, presumably by the same person who crossed out the rest of the cities letters. However humble these words may seem, the great city is anything but humble.
