My dog is an awesome pup. He is funny, friendly and my buddy. One of his favorite toys is a piece of rope that he likes to play tug with. He takes tug games very seriously, and I have tied knots in the rope to help me hold on while he pulls me all over the house. He likes to drag it with him following me through the house waiting for a pet or some other bit of of fun to start. The other day our cleaning lady came and cleaned, and she left the rope coiled up on my dresser in the bedroom. I thought it was an odd place to put the rope and put it back in his toy box. Two weeks later when the cleaning lady came, she coiled up the rope and put it back in the bedroom on the dresser. I asked my wife about it, and she didn't know why. I have come to the conclusion that she thinks it is my wife's and my "toy" and not the dogs. That caused me hysterical laughter, and when I suggested that to my wife she was horrified. I now think it is my duty to test the theory by leaving the rope in odd places like on top of a pile of underwear in the laundry room, hanging in my closet with my ties, and other places that would keep the cleaning lady guessing. My wife does not find this funny at all, and has now stopped telling me when the cleaning lady is showing up so I will quit playing my silly game with her. The dog meanwhile, just wants his rope back in his toy box.
