Ah, scoliosis. I have it in my neck. It goes to the side, so no one seemed to notice it until I was in high school. They thought the top of my spine being slowly sheared into a point by the base of my skull could have been a contributing factor to the migraines. The chiropractor Id been going to for years did help a bit. But they never really went away. They come back every now and then. For the past 2 years, it seems as though the base of my spine has been grinding into my pelvic bone. I always wondered why my chiropractor used to adjust my hip. She must have been doing it as a preventitive measure. As far as I can tell, I simply wasnt put together properly. I must have been made on a Monday. But, Id say considering it all, Ive done okay.
How painful were the rods they put inside of you? I cant even imagine how bad that would feel. They keep them in for years, dont they?
Yea. I have scoliosis too. Had it since I was 9, and I used to get the worst pains at night. The doctor says it was a growth spurt and the was nothing to worry, until I came back a year later, and then they wanted me to do all of these things. Luckily I didnt grow any taller, so the curve wont grow either. No surgery, yay me!
