"Never give advice. The ignorant won't heed it, and the wise won't need it." - the Washington post.
That said I'm doing my first in a series of advice and inspiration journal entries. They will include what I've learned about spirituality, art, love, and life. Please know that this is not a matter of arrogance, I'm just sharing what I've learned up to this point and the quotes of those far wiser than me.
I'm going to start with a few bits from a conversation I once had with a friend.
I was told "I don't think I'll ever be simple." to which I replied no ones simple to expect that from your self as a norm is unreasonable. This is a friend that has very few social skills and who is one of the very scientifically minded, not artistic or creative at all and she's an atheist. Nothing exists if she can't explain or see it. I told her that there is a difference between being simple and being centered. The people that she looks at as being simple are not really they are just centered. These are still very complex humans they just sift though the minds floating nonsense to get to what they really feel in their soul. Now here is where the atheist comes into play, she says she has no soul that the body is only animated by electrical currents and can all be explained and named and categorized in there very neat boxes. This is where I find her problem and my point for this very long post. LIFE IS NOT BOXED there is no way to explain everything, life is not neat and tidy. So being simple or even centered is impossible because you are paying too much attention to life. Life is not a wandering child that needs to be penned. Life knows precisely what it's don't and if you go chasing it around trying to fit it into it's little box of explanations and rules you'll never rest. The answer comes in "being" we are all humans doing" to find rest simplicity and centeredness try being for just a half an hour don't pay too much attention to your self. Eat if you are hungry, sleep if you are tired let life BE all around you and feel what it's like to just BE in it.

I was only repeating what I have been told, there was no need to call me a bitch for it, just a 'hey, guess what you're wrong and this is why you should be more careful when telling people that'...
