The convention in Seattle was wonderful!
Pretty much from the time the doors opened until closing I was behind the table doing watercolors. The only times I was out of the booth was when dashing madly for the ladies room. At least it was a straight shot.
Good friends made it possible to get a couple of sketches from artists I admire. I'm very lucky to have them, and they brought me caffiene in the form of big ass coke. and a pretzel a day. I have got to get a better convention diet!
The next convettion is here in Portland! Yay! my first time being a guest in my town! I cried for two days when I got the letter asking me.
Then Calgary- yay! I have not been to Canada in a long time, and another local show, or one in Oakland, CA. A lot of cons in the next few months.
So, today am at the studio, listening to Twin peaks soundtrack- on my new little mac laptop named Ona- and we are all being photographed for the Oregonian. it's a sily, life.
Ona is beautiful, I love her. She is a little ibook, with a bit more memory than normal. I've figured out how to lock her, change her look-icons, desktop- she's very pretty and has a great glow. I'm in harcore crush mode. I have been working on broken machines for he last year and a half. This is so happy.
So, the photos wil be goofy, as we are a motley crew, and not the most photgenic of humans. They will look like a cross between clown school and the Sopranos. The photographer was bummed there were not more females. I am am the sole lonely woman in this place. Female artists wanted. Even if you just want to become friends and come hang out here for a day.
lala waiting.... grff.
I'm silly. The photos were fun. I only relaxed when I could use my body, and it was not just tight face shots. Anyway it is done. It was neat. I am starving. We are off to have a late lunch, and do some work.
Be well, Snuggles
