...One of my jobs is doing "industrial" film.... (i.e. shooting new product release's, major client seminars, etc). This weekend I got to work with my nephew, who produces these sorts of events on stage. It was great fun watching him do his stuff! This was a new product release for Microsoft.... and I was there mainly for "fluff" ( to placate television talent that was working with the company). This gave me an opportunity to really watch these people (people watching is my FAVORITE thing!!). I was completely amazed at how self important these people are!! ... young techno-geeks fully convinced that they are curing cancer, and slick VP's of corporate waa-waa telling everyone that this release of "Whatever 2.1" is going to be the biggest thing since sliced bread. This was better than ANY concert/book/film that you could do. Observing human nature is sooo fascinating......
