They just want to see a decent picture of you to tell what you actually look like. Nothing fancy. I applied back in 05, though so I don't know if they've changed anything. Member Review didn't even exist back then.
Also, there used to be a fuck load of information containing the answers to all of your questions. Once you get accepted (and you will), they'll set you up with more info.
