tomorrow we're having a meet and greet after work so that means that I get to see both cute boys whom i adore in a non professional atmosphere
and not in my work clothes!
I gotta wear something nice, but....HOT...I want them to be like oh heyloooo baby come back to my place for some drinks! LOL
anyhoo.
this week has been the most stressful horrible week work wise I can imagine. seriously....the caterings are so insane....people throw us last minutes and expect us to get there on time....seriously...if you want like four different platters for noon and you send it to us at 9am....when we also have a fuck ton of other shit to do...you've gotta be either nuts, oblivious to how things work in the food industry, or just assholes.
probably a bit of all three....
I had to shut off my brain and just go on instinct all this week....I dont know how I got this shit done, or how fast I got it done, but I did. and needless to say, despite the amount of stress and irritation it was...I'm proud of my efforts and that i was able to pull it off, and only have ONE late, but that wqas only due to lack of cart space (beyond my control)
angie actaully told me that she was VERY impressed with my work habits and orginazational skills, and that I have far exceeded my resume and thanked me.
I didn't know how to react to such nice words coming from someone above me at work..it was weird, i'm so used to hearing what I did wrong that hearing that iwas doing a super happy great fun job was so foreign.
and I just wanna say a special thanks to mr. ambientLight for being such a great guy. he really puts a smile on my face and a kind word in my ear when i seem to need it.

Dealing with the public & their demands sucks... & yeah sometimes you just gotta run on instinct. Like I tell people where I work... I don't get paid enough to bring my brain in, I leave it at home on my pillow.
Kudos for the good strokes from your boss, it's nice to get recognized for a job well done.
