Wow. I signed on today to find out that my friend from Australia has signed on here. Isn't that fabulous? I love it when friends I haven't talked to in a while show up.
Speaking of which, I finally met the fabulous Oryx which was an unexpected surprise, as well as the fabulous aya and... some fellows who may or may not have been on the group. I'm afraid I don't know.
Misguided and Calixte were there as well, while I'm dropping names...
Man what a great day. From choir to a party to a lan party to shopping with my parents and ending it all with a decent cheque and some time with some SG friends. I am one content cat.
My only complaint is this: I was in Wal Mart and saw a TV I liked. it had good colour balance and contrast and was 27 inches. I was all "this is awesome" but the sales dude was all "I am not interested in helping customers." Given that I even asked the guy if the display was for sale and he couldn't motivate himself to answer me with a "yes" or "no" I left without the tv.
Ooh! The parents said they'd help me out with yet another computer purchase (as my desktop is now *gasp* over 4 years old) which means I am going to go drool my way through my PC Modder magazine. buying that was possibly the most costly mistake my parents will ever make...
This is going to be fun.
