Hello and good day to you all .

First, I am pleased to announce that there is a new entity in my home! My ex-roommate decided 3 cats was a little much for her new place so Calcifer (whom I missed the most) has moved back in with me. She looks like this:

Now if I could convince her *not* to meow all night long...

I've decided I need to get more culture this summer than last... I've lived in Edmonton too long to have just seen one local band play. Given how awesome that concert was you'd think I'd be more successful at convincing myself of this. If only everything in the worled was free.

I also need to find a replacement concert for Stage 13 this year, which is unfortunate. Last year the acoustic stage truly impressed me. It also kinda disappointed me when I saw such potentially good bands lose all musicality when they hit the big stage after playing a great mini-set on acoustics.
