Well then! We had our big concert and it was in fact delightful. misguided delighted us with his solo and (I feel) our bell choir did an excellent performance. People love to watch us abuse ourselves (if you don't think playing bells counts as self-abuse you haven't damped a 20 pound bell on your side with any amount of force).
Less keen was when I got a phone call while grocery shopping with my parents that stated only 3 of the 106 people in the choir came to help take everything back to the University and none of the handbell ringers came... so I felt obligated to help out. It was quite reminiscent of days back in high school when they would help us return the place to normal after a school concert.
Except this time the concert, in my opinion, was so very awesome the others pale in comparison. That said, I miss playing trumpet and bass
. Someday soon...
Murder Mystery is in 5 days. I really aught to get the last scene written (it is, by tradition, handed out the day of the murder mystery so as to keep it REALLY mysterious.
There needs to be more videogames in my life. Ironic, given the only major project remaining for me this semester is to write a game. Nonetheless, I played World of Warcraft on fri. night with some friends and it made me wish I could do it more often.
Step one to fulfilling all these "I wish" and "I aughts?" Get my ass into bed so I have energy tomorrow. I wish you all a pleasant monday!
