Well then. I've almost healed from reading week, so why not drop a line?
Life has been pretty busy, really... nothing like coming back and being forcibly reminded that you have 2 midterms and a bunch of other work to do; it kinda ruined my "look ma, I'm kicking this semester's ASS" mood that I had going on. Everything is still managable though, so if I play my cards right ass-kicking will still happen.
Regardless of all that though, it's great to be back and to get to hang out with cordy again, whom I missed. Really, I missed the entire crew, but I'm allowed to have favorites, aren't I?
The choir plays a concert in Red Deer next weekend. This is kinda exciting; I haven't sang that close to my home town (except for once at Olds) so I'm excited to be down again. Especially in a place I know to be enjoyable to sing in.
Getting even more geeky for a moment, I went to a Microsoft event on thurs, which was lovely. I've almost given up on the after-degree idea, I'm getting really tired of having no money coming in and, especially after that AWESOME presentation, I'm quite excited about doing some programming... some work.
I think it will be great to do some coding for me, even if it's just junk work to get some experience. That said I still think I'm going to work maintenance again this summer at the University, but that's because I figure I should get one last summer of exercise before I retire to the computer science Industry.
That means you have a few months to get your coding requests to me. Start now, before there is a line up .
