Good times with Christmas. Also, with having a laptop so I can cruise SG undisturbed.
For those who are interested I got many grand items, not the least of which being a new snowboard (good times will be had, let me tell you). Ironically, the gift I've got the most use from has been my new George Carlin book. I didn't think I'd find him that funny, but I sure do.
I also broke down and bought the digital camera. After playing a bit of bass with my brother (who has a degree in music) I was shown that I'm getting rusty due to lack of playing. Fix that, and then I'll look into the fretless/upright.
In other news though I return to Edmonton tonight which will be a sweet relief. I love my family and friends down here... but Edmonton is "home" for me and has been for a couple of years now. As such it's kinda odd to hear my brother's girlfriend talk about how she looks forward to returning "home" to Alberta after living in Halifax.
I guess, for me, home is where my friends are . Cheesy statement? Yes... sorry about that.
In closing... I have no idea how I'm going to get to new years but I'm working on it. As long as the protective-parent block has been reasoned with I think a solution will be found. Ideally, that'll happen by Friday.
