Life is good, I must say. cordy has gone grey, which sucks, but the nice thing about people in edmonton is I can still find them even if they disappear from here.
As has been mentioned... the infamous pig roast at _soleil_ and dire_romantic's place was grand as it always has been, even for squemish little me (I dislike handling carcasses. Sorry about that). Really though... lighting a fire with premium fuel and watching the lighter jump back a few feet more than made up for any unpleasantness there.
I start my job today and it is already cutting into my studies (work at 5 is no good when I have school until 4:50 and it's about a 15 minute bike ride). This is nicely complimented by a speech from my father on saturday about how I need to be sure to quit the job if it interferes with school. Awkwardness... I figure I can give it at least 2 weeks to see how it goes, though.
Other news: Halloween is creeping up and I still don't have a costume. Project Oompa Loompa proved a failure... I really don't think I can work a lot of time for make up this year
