Excellent weekend. Went to the bar and danced the night away (well, I tried. In the end the night won and I went to bed but it was a valiant struggle). Downside is that events conspired so I once again didn't get to the Edmonton Taboo show and (honestly, more disappointing for me) I once again missed D&D with the gang.
It is now mid October and so we rapidly approach the time at which I need to put the motorbike away. Not really a deep sentiment, I know, but I like how focusing on that distracts me from work ramping up ('tis the season) and starting to look at homes. I know I should be more excited or somesuch but I really don't like shopping nor do I like imposing on people (even when it is regarding a rather expensive potential purchase). Ah well. I'll get over it I am sure.
Current halloween thoughts: Having finally seen "How to Train your Dragon, the wife and I are leaning towards me as a viking and her (in black catsuit) as the dragon. Waiting on plans to coalesce before we try and actually get the costume together but it is nice to have a plan.
Hope this finds you all well.
