So. Summer (inasmuch as Edmonton recognizes it) is coming to a close. In order to squeeze a bit more fun out of my bike, I have decided to go on a road trip. Unfortunately, that means I now need to make "decisions" and "plans."
route 1-end up in Seattle. Not for PAX, It is sold out but even if it wasn't I wasn't planning to go so no big loss. This means, of course, I could just end up in Vancouver and call it good. The problem is I don't really have friends between Edmonton and Van so it is a 12 hour kick. Prettiest route but not necessarily a good idea :S.
route 2-end up at Waskesiu, SK. Done the road many many times before and the last 2 hours are pretty enough the fact remains it is prairie for the first 6 hours of the 8 hour trip... and then light forest. But still... house to myself at the end plus much more reasonable one day trip (cheaper and don't need a tent and whatnot). But still... I have 5 days. I suppose I could take a quick dip down south to Moose Jaw and score bonus points (as the fiance will be there visiting with the folks)...
tough choices.
