So I finally committed and signed up for a motorcycle training course. I realize that isn't as edgy as just learning but it helps keep the parents from freaking out. Come the end of July, I will have my license.
The problem is, this means that I'm looking for bikes now. Specifically something in the feel of a Honda Shadow Sabre or Aero. Because I'm new I'm looking at used bikes but I really hate the experience of trying to guesstimate something I have no knowledge on. Not fun times.
Also, I accidently saw my new object of motorcycle lust which doesn't make it any easier. When you're trying to keep expenses south of $10'000 looking at $20'000 machines, regardless how dreamy, won't help. So I'm told.
Times like this I wish I had friends who rode bikes instead of friends who ride scooters.
