Choir tour is over.
First one I haven't been on... which was an interesting thing in and of itself. I was nervous going to skit night... feeling that I had become an outsider in the week between. I was pleasantly surprised... it was a great night and I got to catch up with a great many people I hadn't talked to in a while even before choir got out.
I might not have helped my image as a drunken fool but perhaps, with time, I will be able to rise above that.
Thanks to Michele for driving out; it was appreciated and you are a great travel buddy.
Thanks to Awasis and Calixte for being there so I had other people to hang out with/talk to when the choir tour stories were flying.
I'd say more but there isn't really any more than that. It was like a mini-tour in one night. Some awesome, some slightly less awesome.
In unrelated news, I spent last eve moving one of my coworkers and his fiancee into a new place. I am more than a bit impressed: EVERYONE (granted, that is just 6 or so) from the office went to help, making the task nearly trivial. No small feat when you start with a packed full and decent sized u-haul. This was followed up with the usual compliment of pizza and beer... not a bad way to start the week.
Hopefully his fiancee will forgive him for having us horribly, horribly dirty (but, if I may be so bold, amusing) coworkers. I hope she was given a heads up because if there is a group which can rival choir for questionable content... well work comes pretty close.
For now though... to all a good night.
