So then. At work they decided to change the free poker to a 2 dollar buy-in to change it up a bit and so we didn't have to finish the game in exactly the hour we had. As anyone who has played with me knows I am *far* better when there isn't actually money on the line (case in point: getting my ass handed to me in blackjack at the casino versus winning quite sufficiently at the house prior).
This trend proved consistant at first as yesterday I had worked my way from the 5000 dollars worth of chips (2 dollars for 5000) to a single 100.
Today I was back up to 5000. Poker is fun when I don't need to worry. Who knows... maybe I'll be someday be able to repay my friend who insisted on giving me money last time we went to the casino. See, I figure if I'm already drunk and we're going to play a game I haven't played in a casino environment I should just go home. He disagreed.
I should have laid money on me losing for increased amusement but something tells me he wouldn't take the bet.
In non gambling news my job is going fairly well although the open-ended layout kinda creeps me out. I expected to be everyone's little bitch-boy "we need this but don't want to waste our time so you do it." Apparantly it is more "this is what we have to do in total. Find a piece and make it." Neat to be trusted but since I've never worked in a corp environment I have no idea how long I should spend on what.
It is neat going a week without saying "why am I at this lame ass job" though. I'm enjoying that.

Oh don't worry... when I shoot the President (and yes, it's a when, not an if) I'm sure there will be PLENTY of footage. You'll just have to wait twenty or thirty years for it to be declassified.

I can honestly say I'd consider beating my head against a brick wall if I managed to screw it up at this point.
