So anyhow... I said "Fuck" to a cop the other day. It was on the phone though... does that make it better?
I was feeling sick on friday so I took the day off to go see the doc. I find out that my doctor has moved, so I choose to go see the doctor at the University. Long story short I didn't complete the trip. As is standard procedure I phoned dispatch and after a brief chat I ask if I should move my car as it was in a somewhat conspicuous location. She tells me to, but to do a quick check to see if the car is okay.
I made it 3/4 of the way around and before I made it to see the front right quarter panel (I think?) rolled back much as one would open a lid on a can of spam. I was displeased and so an expletive slipped out in the middle of "yeah, it looks o..." She took it in stride though.
In other news? Work goes okay. I had my first meeting with a manager since the initial "hey, how's it going?" meeting. I was taken into a breakout room which creeped me out a bit but everything was cool. I left wondering why he had the meeting when he didn't really have any information for us to discuss but, apparantly, that is what managers do. Point is, working in a call centre could be far worse, says I.
Those who know me will be surprised to hear the following but I got to say it. House is on tonight and I still am undecided on if I'll pay attention. I love the show but they killed off all the likable parts of my favorite chars so I'm far less happy with the show. I'll watch it as I am a hopeless addict, but I no longer would wrestle a House-Hater to the ground for their poor judgement.
On a unrelated note, I went to a fondu party on Saturday. That's right; me at a social event that in no way involves choir people and actually talking. Really anything with both melty milk chocolate, white chocolate, marshmallows and Guitar Hero 2 is good in my books.
That should do you for now. Everyone come to Edmonton for new years.
Added: You can all breath easier; I shall be attending a defensive driving class. Sometime.
