It is monday, which means I have only two days left of work before leaving for PAX in Washington. I am excited but worried... I haven't made this big a trip in a while but I think it will be the best part of my summer. At least, I hope so.
This weekend was an interesting mix. Friday was spent hanging out with a delightful friend on D&D Online... which is a far better game than I thought at first. In fact... I considered exchanging my WoW account for one... if not for my addiction to my Priest. Man I love that dwarf... I gotta say though integrated chat service is an INCREDIBLE feature to have and makes the game much more immersive. I never noticed how much typing takes away from the RPG experience until I played some D&D Online with a friend and voice on.
The other game I tried again this weekend was Counterstrike: Source. Unfortunately I didn't magically get better at it while I was away so that is all I can say about that. As a plus I'm not ever accused of cheating... makes me want to go back to Quake though... I miss being the big dog.
K-Dawg, if you will. I digress.
I installed a tap for a sink today. It took 3 hours... meaning lunch was delayed by an hour. For anyone keeping track, taps shouldn't take more than 45 minutes; I suspect not everyone had their mind on the task at hand.
I am excited that everyone has returned from their various away-states. I am less excited that I am going to miss what will likely be the everyone back together/last hoorah before school party.
Mostly though I am excited for PAX. if anyone has any questions they want asked, let me know.

YAY! Playing computer games! Voice chat should be a must from now on. I agree.
Have a great day!
