Interview on monday sucked ass... I was asked to prove that I love coding. I mean, fuck. My entire problem is that nobody will hire me so that I can do that. What should I do... buy pajamas with binary written on them?
Last time I checked, people don't get degrees in Computing Science if they don't like it. Did I miss something?
Either way... although it'd be nice to work in my field I have a maintenance job lined up with people I enjoy working with so fuck 'em. I have some time left... why should I sort my life out before all my friends have even graduated? 23 isn't that old. That is my new catch phrase... let me know if it did anything for you.
My video card is almost here! I gave myself a nice $300 bonus at work (of sorts) by ordering the ATI X1900 XTX ($700 retail) for 419+shipping and tax. This breaks down somehow to about 478...ish... so yeah. I'm excited about that, especially since it went off back-order for me today so I should get it in 3-ish days.
Choir tour is in two weeks. Last trip around so I hope it's a blast. It's unfortunate cirdt couldn't come but I guess such is life sometimes. Whoever will go stealing lawn gnomes this year?
My game has hit a bit of a snag... restructured my code a bit and now my programatically-generated terrain is screwed. There. I mentioned coding in my blog. Now do you believe I love it?
