update time.
i'm currently...
-half-way through my second to last quarter of college
-applying to 8 zillion internships and jobs in DC and San Francisco
-hoping to end up in DC this summer than San Fran in the fall
-trying to figure out how I can start a career path to one day becoming an art director of a magazine or creative director at an advertising company
-trying to figure out how I can afford software ala Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, Dreamweaver & Flash...
-so I can teach myself enough about these programs to at least be able to feel comfortable putting "familiarity" with them on my resume
-being pissed off that these programs are so ridiculously expensive (what am I, made of money?)
-trying to figure out how to be a grown up
-actually happy in my relationship
-getting ready to fly to DC this weekend to see the boy
-excited about life after college
-terrified about life after college
-really worried that I'll never be able to learn Quark...
-sad that I cracked my Paint Shop Pro disk slightly, so that I cannot install it on my laptop.
-convinced that borders is the devil, as I spent $60 there today on two books and two magazines.
-debating whether an unpaid internship in an art department at a magazine (if i could get one) would be worth doing in order to get my foot in the door of magazine publication--
-and, more so, wondering if they'd let someone intern for them who doesn't know Quark.
meep.
that's all for now.
I think.
thanks for all the wonderful advice on my last post.
