Why the show is 18+ according to the metro: Hello,
You are correct that there is no nudity. There wasn't supposed to be any
nudity in the show. What the Suicide Girls show does include is breasts with
the nipples covered by pasties. However, the City ordinance says that no
part of the breast below the aereola can be exposed. This means no pasties,
they will be wearing some sort of bikini top. The other issue is buttocks
showing... Long story short there are things that may not seem like a big
deal but as far the city is concerned we area licensed nightclub and we
can't do them 18+. Sorry for the inconvenience but I'm sure hey will come
back and you'll have another opportunity to see the show.

I'm not sure what your relation to the metro is or if you are the right person to be e-mailing this question to, but I am writing in regards to an upcoming show at the metro that has a 21+ age restriction. The Suicidegirls burlesque tour is playing around the countries at various venues and many of these shows are 18+. While I understand that many avid metro fans who are over the age of 21 are not happy with 18+ shows, I imagine the majority of the audience that would come to this particular show would be suicidegirls members. I am 20 years old and have been a member of the site since I was 18. Point being, to join the site you have to be 18... to model on the site you have to be 18... and many members (esp. local members) are 18 and older, but not yet 21. Although I admit I am hoping that I can persuade the metro to change the age restriction on this show for my own benefit, I think it is also true that the Metro would profit financially in this case if the show were to be change to 18+.
