Greetings all. Well, I survived another trip to Dallas. It seems like quite a long time since I made that trek. All was fun. I drank some, ate good food, and met some interesting people. I certainly have a couple of places to hit next time I go down. Some of the clubs I couldn't go to because people didn't bring proper clothes, which was unfortunate, but next time...
6 flags was alright. Watching all the people gave me a new idea for genetic problem solving, so that is another project for me to read up on. By the end of the day, however, I guess I was getting grumpy. The sun, the rain, and the waiting must have gotten to me. At that point, I began to see the park as an unahppy place. All of those people, standing around, waiting for an extended period of time for some brief thrill, some fleeting exhilaration. It reminds me, in a sad way, of some people, both in relationships, and in life general. But that was a morbid time. After that, I went to diner, had some Peking duck, some drink, and felt much better.
I recently aquired some dvd's of Daria, such a fun show. Some friends have been telling me I should travel more, which only feeds my natural tendancy to wonder. A trip to Thailand or the like is starting to sound very nice, if only I can find a way to afford it. Perhaps in a year, or maybe 18 months, when I have finished my masters' I can find a way. Student loans can be both great and terrible. My test results mean that I must take Complex Analysis in the fall, and Topology all next year. After that, and another 2 CS classes, It is to phd work if I desire it, and that would be worth a break I think.
OK, I think that is enough of my self-indulgent ramblings for now.
Talk to you all later.

naked chicks do of course rule...I found 6flags to be somewhat disappointing, as admission was almost $50 and there are only so many thrilling rides, seemed like the rest was just capitalists hawking cheap wares made in Thailand, ironically enough.

thanks for the kind words...everyone is so supportive here, I feel sorta like Tyler Durden's alter ego in a testicular cancer support group
