How is everything around here?
Family! I am very happy to make this blog.
I want to tell you a little about the traditions and culture in Mexico. I'll tell you about the Lucha Libre!!
The Lucha Libre is a mixture of sports and theatrical sequences that in Mexico is the most popular sport-show, just below soccer. Mexican wrestling is characterized by its styles of fast submissions and elevated acrobatics, as well as dangerous jumps out of the ring; much of these movements have been adopted outside of Mexico. Many of their wrestlers are masked, that is, they use a mask to hide their true identity and create an image that gives them a special personality. Wrestlers can put their mask into play when facing a match against another masked wrestler
Lucha Libre is very popular also in Japan!
The folklore that accompanies wrestling is mainly determined by the masks. The boom they caused was such that there came a time when the masks were part of the duels and they began to bet, just like the hair, but losing the mask for many implies the collapse of theirc areer.
Each mask is made by hand and is personalized according to the character/name and team of the wrestler.

September is the national month for Mexicans. We celebrate the independence of our country and that is why we decided to make a set that will represent a part of our traditions.
We used a traditional colic and an expert "masquero" designed and handcrafted the masks that were used.
Here is our tribute to Mexico with lots of love! Mucha lucha
