Well. My set just got rejected. I shouldn't say my set, I should say *I* just got rejected. I got the dreaded "I'm sorry but we can't use you for the site at this time. I will keep your information on file." email. Well, at least it only took two sentences and less than 12 hours to end this particular dream of mine. Some drag on for years at a time before crashing to an overly painful end. At least this way, I can face facts (that I'm not pretty enough, thin enough, hell, GOOD ENOUGH for this site, and probably not any others), cut my losses, and move on to whatever the next caper in my life will be.
I guess I'm just surprised that after all the work I put in, it wasn't enough to even consider me or tell me why I was rejected. Oh well. What's that thing people always say? Better luck next time? Or not in this case. Maybe just "better luck in general."

never ever say you're not good enough ever again. you never know, maybe if you turn in another set you'll get accepted. you don't need to impress anyone, just be yourself.
