Whoa... let's just put the breaks on my up-coming dancer audition before it starts! The club I was going to audition for (Heavenly Bodies) is kinda divy, sure. I knew that some girls were trickin' in the back, I knew that it was high-contact, and I knew that the customers weren't the classiest men on the planet. But then I read this.
Uhrmmm yeah. Radio ads specifically soliciting poor young single mothers from the city? Customers saying that "groping above the waist" was usually allowed? Yeah right. That's all I gotta say. What the HELL were my friends on when they worked at this place?
So on to Plan B. I'm going to investiage the local peep show (Bare Assets). It's equally sleezy as Heavenly Bodies, and I won't make as much $, but at least they'll be a piece of glass between me and the customers. Honestly. I'm glad I found out about Heavenly Bodies before I actually went out there... or worse yet, got hired.
I wish Chicago wasn't so fucked up and that it wasn't so damn hard to find a club that didn't a) want Barbie or b) expect you to be an indoor hooker. I've got nothing against whores, I'm just not one of them (at least, not at this point in my life anyway). I've got to move out of this town, honestly.
On the plus-side, though, there's a beautiful thunderstorm going on outside... and tomorrow afternoon are my retakes for my SG set. Hopefully it'll get *done* this time so I can send it off to be rejected

man, i wish there was a peep show booth place here in cols. i'd be working there in a heartbeat. i worked in one when i lived in wa. and i had so much fun. it you're not shy about masturbating in front of someone or them in front of you then it's easy work. i wish i could find something like that but the only phone sex place in town is run by close friends of my guy's ex-girlfriend. and she won't let them rehire me. oh well. i'll find something

but yeah, it can be a really terrible thing to have to do if it's your only option. I think it's the kind of job where if you're comfortable with yourself, what your boundaries are, what is acceptable and unacceptable to you, then you'll do just fine and you'll be able to walk away from it if you ever find it hurting you in any way. if you have any questions or anything, please feel free to shoot them my way.
