It's been a while since I last updated. I dunno, it's kinda felt like a homework assignment lately so I've just put off doing it.
I got done with my first day of classes, and so far it seems pretty rad. My schedule goes as thus:
Monday/Wednesday
1:00- Digital Animation
4:00- Screenwriting
Tuesday/Thursday
7:00- Editing and Post Production
I am really excited about the Digital Animation class, which is tought by a CalARTS allumni who worked on South Park.
The screenwriting class seems pretty awesome in the fact that the instructor is an up and comming screenwriter that was mentored by Orson Scott Card. We did a couple of neat little writing excersizes today, it was nice to get the creative juices flowing again.
In fact, I've been in a really creative mood lately. I've spent the entire night on these three (in my opinion) kick ass story ideas:
A detective noir involving cats
Girth-Man
A nerd/geek "forbidden love" screwball comedy
I'm going to spend a little more time working on these ideas. At the momment, all I have is character outlines.
I might be getting in to a place in Culver City along with a well paying job in Venice. If so, I'm going to quit the library.
I hope that I'll be able to close this deal.
I'm fairly close to finishing the PSW favorites bar, so be on the look out for that soon.
By the way, THANK YOU NextTuesday!
