I have a new love, and it is podcasts. Yes, I know I'm about five or so years behind but I finally jumped on the train due to the fact that I cannot seem to get any decent radio stations on my shitty, yet beloved stereo.
I found out the P.S.1 has a podcast and have been listening to feminist artists for the past hour. It's amazing. I cannot tell you how much better listening to these women speak has made me feel.
Also, if you are in NY visit P.S.1, it is amazing. I went there for the first time during my last trip and was blown away. It is by far my favorite museum to stumble around. While I was there I also checked out The New Museum to see *drool* Mary Heilmann and *slight snore* Elizabeth Peyton. Don't get me wrong, Peyton is fucking amazing and her androgynous paintings beautiful but after ten of them I'm kind of left.....being bored. I know, I'm a terrible painter. (Also Chris Kattan was at the museum on a Friday night with some young thing).
Here is Heilmann:

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Screen printing is pretty simple. If you don't get to it while in school, just get a kit and teach yourself later. Best advice someone gave me was to get a small light table. I did, and the results are now consistent so I can concentrate on more artistic things instead of sweating the technical side.
Thanks for the encouragement.
