Wtf. I didn't mean to leave a new blog but I clicked on the "blog" button thinking if it didn't show me other people's blog it would just show me my own....not a new post.
Short story:
Jenny Saville is actually pretty fucking cool, she's from England, left home at 16 and became asuperstar artist at the age of 21. Damn. Now at 37 she has a huge ass house in Sicily and paints everyday for 12 hours. In twenty-one different rooms she has a different painting and rolls her pallete around to work.
Her lecture rocked, she is super smart and a huge feminist. During the Q and A session I had the crazy girl that started screaming about her PTS and that Jenny should have a warning at the lecture (there were signs all over the doors warning of graphic nature. Also she (Saville) told everyone they could not take pictures during the lecture so as not to copy graphic material. So of course I had to try and get the mic from her. Good times in front of 500 people.
