Last night I received my second magizine from Modern Painter......whenever i find it in my mailbox i seriously become like a kid again and have to run upstairs and start reading it.

So I now have to share my new, kick ass awesome artist. Dorthy Iannone, whom I discovered in the glossy pages.

What makes it even better is she is this spunky 70 something year old women! Fuck yeah!

Seriously, every issue there is a page with a self portrait included that I assume is dealing with identity and sexuality. I was intrigued so I checked out her website only to find someone that is too hip to even write about her work. I understand being upset at constantly being critiqued and what not but jesus, just say "fuck off" instead of sarcastic and ironic statements. Huh, I did find out that she lived in cincy ohio for a while. Crazy.
