im so excited, im feeling better and tomorrow i get to go down and work in my stu-stu-studio for the first time in two weeks!! I think this is the longest I have gone without working or at least stopping down there. I've found if I go for a little more than a week without working I tend to get rather anxious and a little snippy. I dont mean to, it's just I keep thinking about the paintings I need to work on, how Im being a failure as a painter etc etc. On the upside if I'm working regularly I feel wonderful. Tomorrow I also have a meeting with a prof who I am quite fond of. He has always had my back even though he tends to give me a hard time occasionally. He wrote me recommendation letters for grad school and we occasionally grab a beer and talk about painting and feminism. This year I applied to a few schools and will be hearing back from them soon. (Fingers crossed!!)

Currently I am reading a book by Jospeh Epstein titled, Narcissus Looks in the Pool. It is a collection of essays that breaches the topic of aging in the information age and has a bit of a satirical overhead. It's really great and makes you think about, well, getting old but in a way that is quite poetic. While in MD I, well halfjack bought a bunch of feminist lit that I can't wait to get started on. Also, I just signed up for my last two classes I have to take as an undergrad! yay me! I'm actually excited about finishing everything up....damn math 145 holding me back.
