boo im sick! so last week i went to visit MD and got out of work for a week! it was glorious! then today I woke up to get ready to go in and my back hurt, my eyes ached, and overall i just felt like hell. since my stomach was quite fucked up I didn't drink my morning coffee which is what I think did me in. If i would have had a bit of caffine I think iI would have had enough energy to at least make it through the day. instead i went on break and started getting chills, and then it hit me. I work in a mall kiosk so there are tons of people around and all of a sudden it was so loud and I honestly felt like I was having a horrible trip of some sort. I could hear EVERYTHING and it was so surreal, the lady with pink heels echoing in front of me, the people passing by. Luckily I was allowed to leave and get some rest. I'm feeling a bit better now. Oh the other odd thing that happened at work was I gave an interview to a very nice chap who then told me he was a preacher and offered me a job. Anyone that knows me would wonder how the hell this guy who is a preacher would think I could benefit his flock. It was very bizarre because he just started talking and while he made sense he wasn't explaining what the job entailed just that it pays a lot of money and I would sell things on the internet.......or join a cult. I honestly couldn't tell. Ok, off to try and get better....on the upside it is raining outside and sounds pretty.

sick with my hot chocolate.....
still sick...boo. but i thought i would tell all who were wondering how i was giving an interview to a preacher and then he inturn offered me a job. iwhat i do is show movie previews to the public before they are released on television or the theater. so yeah, i give interviews on what people think about movie trailers. it can be sweet sometimes....mostly bc we got the TMNT trailer and will be getting all of the transformer trailers!!!! thanks for the get better wishes!! now im off to watch buffy and veg for the rest of the day.

wow...so you're really arty? thats cool! what kinds of things do you paint? market research is miles off that, how did you get into it? (not that i interrogate people hahah sorry for the 10 000 questions!)
yeah its starting to warm up here that little bit so i keep forgetting that almost everywhere else in the world it will be cold, last time i was in the states was 04 in new jersey...the only time i've ever been for longer than a couple of hours i might add hahah...and that was april and i was STILL freezing!so its definately a case of long socks and trousers and tonnes of warm clothing...i wish i hadn't left my hat at home in bristol! doh! whats MOMA? and i'll wander round depending on weather but if like you say its freezing i'll probably see what the underground has to offer hahah!
The uk is very crowded in the big cities...london is SO full of people...but its an amazing place to live...i'm in the east end where all the culture is =P we have a huge amount of immigrants here so this part of london is diverse and absolutely amazing...you only have to go to places like brick lane, spitalfields or roman road to see the influence...bristol my hometown is quieter though its still a big city, sort of historical because it used to be one of the main trading ports in the 17th and 18th centuries. sadly it was also the biggest port in the slave trade, something we obviously arent so proud of! but we are proud of things like the suspension bridge, which was one of the first to be built...manchester is also a really good place to visit...its a stunning city, providing it doesnt rain...we have some amazing countryside around devon cornwall and wales...and then up to yorkshire and cumbria...and of course scotland! though i've never been there...one thing we dont lie about is the amount it rains here!so if you come over, bring the umbrella and wellington boots!
what classes are you taking in grad school?
