The past few weeks have been filled with new classes, spending lots of money on books and finally bleeding. My two WS professors are incredibly adorable, each in their own different way. There will be a new member of my family arriving soon and I wait anxiously for her arrival. I am going to look at kitties on Saturday but I have my eyes set on one feline who is so gorgeous, so adorable, she makes my heart jump a little. Her name is Laya but I can't say it. Layla is what comes out of my mouth. She is still a kitten and I just cannot wait to meet her.
Today I wore a beautiful skirt and I actually put makeup on. Sometimes the effort is worth it.
Meeka's poop smells SO FOUL.
I am thinking about starting a group. Not an SG group but a group about something very important, in which we will discuss and work on very important things. This will have to wait until I graduate. Speaking of graduation, I hate this notion that at some point we decide "what" we are going to do. As if we can only do one thing with out lives! Every day a new idea, but sometimes it is exciting.

Anyway.
Keep the 2 new kitties together so they can get used to each other first. This is good for 2 reasons.
1) When both of them are introduced to your resident cat, they may be so into playing with each other that that leave your boy alone and
2) It's one less introduction later.
But I'm sure you were already planning on that.
Do not pet either of the new cats in front of your cat for a long time. Let them all meet from under a door. After a few days stick the kittens in a carrier or carriers and let your cat see them. Hissing is fine. Let him hiss all he wants.
Even better, give your cat treats and love while he's watching the kittens in the carrier.
Let your boy into t the room where the kittens are so he can smell them.
Go back to the under the door thing.
Your next step is to let the kittens out of the room they've been stuck in preferably with your cat on your lap. Pet him constantly and tell him how brave and wonderful he is.
Let them sniff each other if that's what he wants to to. Growling is fine and even bopping heads or swatting each other is acceptable. The kittens will learn right away that your cat is the boss and not to be fucked with.
It's when ears get flatened or the claws come out, seperate them and do the introductions again.
But really, just constantly tell your baby boy that he's number 1 in your life and try not to make him too jealous right away.
Please feel free to ask me anything else if you have more questions.
And good luck!
The best cat foods are Wellness, Merrick, and Halo. Lite foods aren't really lite because it just makes the cat hungier. It's all about portions.
I like Wellness, Merrick, and Halo because it not only contains human grade meats but it also has fruits and veggies, which is such a better way to get vitamins.
Other cat foods that have human quality meats are Felidae, Newman's Own Organic, Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul, California Natural, Wysong, Innova, Next to Nature Petguard, and Nature's Variety Prairie.
I lean towards Halo, Merrick, and Wellness though because those 3 don't have any rices or grains which is good because a cat can't break down carbohydrates. Also, those 3 have low ash and high taurine which is important.
