The police have arrested a suspect who matches the victims description, right down to the mole on is neck and tattoo. Still, a woman was tortured and raped for five hours. I don't understand this relief that people feel when they watch the news and hear about tragedies. You can never get away from certain memories. Being alive offers people the chance to relive their fear for longer.
I hope that she can get over what happened but really I hope that people don't put down her feelings by telling her she's lucky to be alive. There are fates worse than death.
